According to recent leaks, this device promises to be one of the most attractive offers in the affordable device segment.
The Galaxy A25 5G is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1280 processor, unlike the use of MediaTek chips in its predecessor, the Galaxy A24.
The main features of the new product include a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
The device will also support USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, dual SIM, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, expandable storage up to 1TB, and Bluetooth 5.1. The smartphone is expected to run One UI 6 out of the box.
In terms of memory and storage, the Galaxy A25 5G may offer 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage options. 5000 mAh battery with 25W charging support promises long battery life.
The camera doesn’t disappoint either: 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree viewing angle, and 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera will offer 13 megapixels.
There’s no word yet on pricing in the US, but the smartphone’s price in Europe will be around 279 Swiss Francs (about $315.54). Galaxy A25 5G is expected to hit the European market between December 7 and December 19.
