Between January and October 2023, the number of vacant positions requiring work with artificial intelligence (AI) increased by 78%. Most jobs that indicate this skill are in the IT sector. This is stated by a study by the Rabota.ru service, the results of which were reviewed by RB.RU.

The number of resumes increased by 27% during the same period. Very often, experts point to remote work as a priority mode of operation.

One in three people looks for work as a tester in the field of information technologies. One in four (21%) include a systems administrator position on their resume and 12% include a programmer position.

Most applicants prefer to work in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Moscow region. Among the most in-demand IT specialists are Python programmers, who account for almost a third of vacancies.

The salary is not indicated in up to 80% of cases. In Moscow, the numbers are expected to be higher: the share of vacancies with a salary of 150 thousand rubles or more is 27%. Analysts noted that the higher the work experience requirements, the more employers are willing to pay and the less likely the vacancy will include a salary.

Some of the most common skill requirements for IT jobs include: programming experience, development experience, web development experience, understanding of design principles, knowledge of ERP systems, knowledge of certain programming languages, big data technologies and machine learning.
