VimpelCom received majority stake in marketing management service Callibri

Callibri is creating cloud services to track advertising performance. The company is developing a lead management platform that deals with marketing analytics.

Previously, 100% of Kolibri belonged to the project’s co-founder Ivan Shkira. According to him, as part of the deal, Beeline also received a stake in the call tracking service Gudok, which was absorbed by Kolibri.

At the end of 2022, the company’s revenue increased by 7.8% compared to 2021, amounting to 136.4 million rubles. Profit increased by 120% and reached 9.2 million rubles.

VimpelCom believes that the service will complement the tools of the operator’s adtech division in terms of analysis and media advertising.

As the operator explained to Forbes, after the agreement, Kolibri will retain its brand, its autonomy and will continue under the direction of the current management.

The parties did not disclose the amount of the transaction. According to Artur Shubaev, CEO of investment bank Advance Capital, the cost of the entire service “taking into account the size” could represent between 0.75 and 1.25 of 2022 revenues, or “approximately between 100 and 150 million rubles, but hardly more.”
