Wildberries warns of possible interruptions in the shipment of goods due to a search at the market warehouse in Elektrostal. Some Telegram channels claim that law enforcement officials identify immigrants and issue them summonses.
The company’s press service reported that they are providing assistance to security forces in document control and that employees who pass control return to work.
“In connection with this (with control – editor’s note), in several areas of the logistics center it is possible that interruptions in the loading and unloading of goods may occur,” they explained in the press service.
According to the Baza telegram channel, several dozen security officers have been working in the warehouse since Friday morning. Photos published by the channel show boxcars of rice. Baza, citing eyewitnesses, reports that riot police are capturing illegal immigrants and those who have recently received Russian citizenship. And warehouse employees say some detainees are summoned to the military registration and enlistment office for inspection.
The Mash Telegram channel also, citing eyewitnesses and warehouse workers, writes that the detainees are taken by bus and women are not allowed to enter the warehouse.
UPDATE 11:22: Wildberries reported on the ongoing activities of the security forces, which is why around 8 thousand warehouse workers cannot begin their duties.
“Hundreds of thousands of products from sellers are not being shipped to customers. “This situation threatens billions of losses for business owners during the peak season.” — noted in the press service.
Previously, law enforcement officers came to check the Wildberries warehouse in the Bélaya Dacha shopping center.
