Starting in December, Google plans to destroy all accounts that have not been used for two years. If your account is deemed inactive, say goodbye to Gmail, Google Photos, Drive and other services.
I wonder when the time of the “digital guillotine” will come? While Google doesn’t give a specific date, be prepared for this to happen on December 1st. Numerous warnings will appear before cleaning.
What is “inactive”? Any account left untouched over the past two years will face a terrible fate. Do little to prevent deletion – send an email, watch a cat video on YouTube, create any document in Drive, or find the latest memes on Google.
