Blueberries. Like other fruits, it contains many flavonoids. These compounds are known to help regulate blood pressure. Anthocyanins, which give fruits their dark color, are especially beneficial for the heart. This recommendation is supported by a study published in The Journals of Gerontology Series A in 2019. This study showed that eating 200 grams (about one cup) of blueberries per day improved blood vessel function and lowered systolic blood pressure.

Dark chocolate. It helps regulate blood pressure. However, it is important that it contains at least 70% cocoa. Some studies have shown that this type of chocolate benefits patients with hypertension. The important thing is not to eat more than 55 g of food per day.
