The founder and CEO of the logistics operator SDEK, Leonid Goldort, is looking for a buyer for his stake in the company due to his emigration to Israel. At the end of 2020 he owned 55.44%, writes Vedomosti.

Other co-owners, Vyacheslav Piksaev (37% as of July 2023), Inna Yakovleva (6.5% as of July 2023), Evgeny Tsatsura (1% as of October 2020), do not plan to sell shares. Goldort’s interests are represented in the negotiations by Taiga Capital LLC.

At the beginning of the year, Sovcombank, through its former chairman of the board of directors Kirill Sokolov, Tinkoff Bank, AFK Sistema, Qiwi, as well as Russian Post, Sberbank, Delimobil and the company’s competitor Delovye Linii became interested in the shares of Goldort at the beginning of the year.

  • Since the beginning of 2023, express delivery service SDEK has opened 120 branches outside Russia: 81 in the CIS countries and 39 in foreign countries, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and Turkey.
  • At the end of June, SDEK opened a logistics center in Turkey and a 2,000 square meter site was opened in Istanbul. Fulfillment will pick up cargo from anywhere in the country, prepare it, and ship it to another country.
  • Previously, SDEK’s logistics center in Shanghai was opened. By the end of the year, the company plans to launch fulfillment at 500 collection points in Russia and the CIS.
