Four years after the announcement, Tesla delivered the first Cybertruck electric pickup trucks to customers who pre-ordered them in 2019. The company also announced pricing for the car.

Since 2019, the concept of the car has remained virtually unchanged. Only some parts were simplified for mass production and compliance with certification requirements. Additionally, the automaker showed off a special body tent that cost $2,975.

Tesla announced the start date for deliveries in October, but only now announced prices.

How much will the Cybertruck cost?

The price of the rear-wheel drive version starts at 60.9 thousand dollars, a third more than the original price of 39.9 thousand dollars announced in 2019. This model travels about 400 km on a single charge and accelerates from 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. But the rear-drive Cybertruck won’t be available until 2025.

The Vesria with all-wheel drive will go on sale in 2024. It will be presented in versions with two and three electric motors. The first will cost 79.9 thousand dollars, the second will cost 99.9 thousand dollars.

The Cybertruck will be produced entirely at the Austin plant starting in 2024.
