Billionaire Jared Isaacman, the man behind the Polaris Program, tweeted, “Sign us up as an instructor,” expressing his willingness to help.

Earlier this year, SpaceX, Isaacman and NASA collaborated on a study to explore the feasibility of a dedicated Hubble relaunch and shuttle mission using SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. Although details were not disclosed, Isaacman hinted at the promise of the mission.

This development comes after NASA issued a request for information on commercial mission concepts to relaunch Hubble, which received eight responses. As Hubble faces potential budget cuts and operational challenges, SpaceX’s involvement could be a critical factor in preserving this space icon.
