Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova noted the importance of this event at the Russia exhibition and forum in Moscow, emphasizing that the Kirov region will become a center for collecting, processing and storing information about donors, the press service said.
The uniqueness of the laboratory lies in the use of four modern genotyping technologies with indigenous reagents. This ensures independence from foreign sources and allows federal records to be updated in a timely manner with information about new donors.
Director of the Kirov Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion Igor Paramonov introduced a unique bone marrow donor – a Kirov resident who has already saved the lives of two people and become an invaluable example of a noble deed.
