He installed a multi-layer air filter from China that combats dust, pollen and even smoke. But that’s not all; the noise canceling gave him peace and quiet. Carefully insulated for efficiency, ventilation ducts run through the walls, making installation easy and convenient.

There is a duct fan with a capacity of 520 m³/h that provides coolness inside the building. But the main thing is that the control unit (Zigbee in this case) turns it into a smart home device.

The costs of the project (as of December 2022) are as follows:

  • 160 mm diameter hole for ventilation duct: 6,000 RUB.

  • Duct fan: 6,500 rub.

  • Air filter: 4,000 rubs.

  • Control unit: 3,000 rub.

  • Silencer: 5,000 rub.

  • Ventilation ducts, ventilation duct connectors, tape, insulation, fasteners, cable ducts, boxes, wires and other consumables: approximately 5,000 RUB.

  • Air quality sensor: RUR 2.500

Total: ~ 32,000 rub.

Instructions for assembling its design are available in the resource or at this link.
