Samsung’s new generation laptops were recently introduced. This Thursday (14), the company announced the new Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360. The series continues its focus on portability and high performance and now features greater integration with artificial intelligence (AI).
A new one has been added to our line Debut of Intel Core Ultra processors accompanied by Nvidia 40 series GPUs. Besides, The entire series has a maximum screen brightness of 400 nitsIt promises better imaging outdoors and in sunny environments.
For example, in the case of the 16 inch Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, user can configure it with Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 9. It is also possible to choose RTX 4050 or RTX 4070 with 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB RAM. In storage (PCIe SSD), you can choose from 512GB, 1TB or 2TB of internal space (with expansion slot).
The Book 4 Ultra’s hardware also includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and has a 16″ AMOLED display with WQXGA+ resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels). With variable refresh rate from 48 Hz to 120 Hz.
The design of the laptop remains minimalist in color and weighs 1.86 kg. It’s also thin, measuring 16.5mm thick. The model comes equipped with Windows 11 Home from the factory and, in addition to dual speakers, includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Micro SD card slot and a headphone jack.
The battery is 76Wh and comes with a 140W USB-C chargerIt promises to charge 55% of the energy in 30 minutes. Samsung confirms that it has made improvements to the cooling system for the launch with an 11% larger vapor chamber and added a new fan.
Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Book 4 Pro 360
Galaxy Book 4 Pro is available in 14-inch (1.23 kg) and 16-inch (1.56 kg) versions. Both have AMOLED screens with WQXGA + resolution, variable refresh rate between 48 Hz and 120 Hz, and a 2 MP Full HD camera (1080p), just like the Ultra version.
In this model, consumers can choose the Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 processor with Intel Arc graphics. They also feature Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and are available in gray and silver.
The Book 4 Pro configuration includes 16GB or 32GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, plus an expansion slot. Batteries range from 63Wh (14″) to 75Wh (16″) with a 65W USB-C charger. They also have dual audio outputs and the same ports found on the Book 4 Ultra.
It is also possible to choose Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 with Intel Arc graphics on the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, which is a model that can rotate the screen. It has the same features as the Book 4 Pro models, but since the screen also supports touch, there is an S Pen stylus in the box.
The Galaxy Book 4 series is expected to be first released in South Korea in January 2024. As the company announced, the launch in other markets will also happen in phases.
