There’s a new article on Apple’s support site about charging cables for the Apple Watch.

According to Apple, the watch should only be charged using a local wire or MFi certification. Non-original cables may result in slow charging, strange repeating sounds, and reduced battery life.

Original Apple cables for Apple Watch may indicate one of the following model categories:
