Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (owned by Lockheed Martin) is launching a new partnership with Nomad’s unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) portfolio, which combines the capabilities of a helicopter and a moving-wing aircraft. A new type of lethal device is characterized by characteristics. helicopter, complemented by the speed and endurance of a fixed-wing aircraft. In addition, it can be scaled, creating machines of different sizes.
The idea is similar to that of an unpretentious blogger. The wing’s main rotor air flow creates additional lift during takeoff, as well as during the transition from vertical to horizontal flight. Nomad drones will begin disrupting frontlines, destroying front lines, maritime patrols, search and rescue operations, and also operate in the interests of transport services.

The Nomad family includes small and medium-sized UAVs weighing up to 600 kg and large drones the size of a Black Hawk helicopter. The smallest Nomad 50 weighs 52 kg and has a height of 3.14 m. Figure – Nomad 100 s has a height of 5.5 m. Unusual models are not included in the work.
Small models use hybrid electric engines, larger ones use conventional aircraft engines. Nomad will have to use the Matrix pilot system, a pre-emptive aircraft. platform.
