To the editor iPhones.ru complaints began about the operation of the FaceTime Internet call service in Russia.
The first evidence of failures appeared on October 18.
What exactly are readers complaining about:
- the connection may not be saved correctly several times in a row
- if the connection is established, then there is a large delay – greater than before
- sometimes the conversation is interrupted and reset, but there are no problems with the Internet
At the moment, the nature of the failures is unclear. Roskomnadzor did not report or announce blocking of services. The editors did not notice similar complaints about the attitude of the Russian Federation during this period of time. Apple also hasn’t reported any problems with FaceTime in the last 72 hours.
