The 45-kilogram robot HOUND (hound), developed by the South Korean labor direction of dynamics and robot design in Korea Institute of Technology and Technology (KAIST), set a record at a distance of 100 meters, listed in the Guinness Book of Records – 19.87 seconds.
HOUND was specifically associated with a speed of 10.7 km/h, in number, since the change in size and largest area.
The innovative power robots are equipped with special hip and knee joint modules that act as a single control. The developers preferred the plug-in gearbox due to its high efficiency at that time.
HOUND is far from the only record-breaking sprinter. DARPA’s 2012 plans for the Cheetah robot are scheduled to be published in 2012. The height of Usain Bolt himself at a distance of 20 meters is 44.7 km/h, at a distance of 10 years, the height of Cassie from Agility Robotics covered the hundred meters in a record 24.73 seconds. As you can see, the Korean robot has something to strive for, for example, breaking the phenomenal U record. 100-meter bolt 9.58 seconds.
