The national operating system Rosa Mobile and the R-Fon smartphone were officially presented in Russia.
“Rosa Mobile” was created on the basis of a single platform with all products working on both desktop and mobile devices, Oleg Karpitsky, General Director of JSC “STC IT ROSA”, said in the presentation.

In the future, the Rosa Payments payment service will also appear.
During the presentation, the developers also showed off the new Rosa logo and system application icons.
The Russian smartphone “R-Fon” was presented by the general director of JSC “Rutek” Dmitry Ivannikov: “We do not hide the fact that the phone is created entirely from imported components, but the entire assembly cycle, setting ranges radio frequency <…> It happens in Russia.” The device is produced on the territory of Mordovia.

“The phone is available for the corporate market, we do not lose hope of launching it on the consumer market,” Ivannikov said.

The price of a device with an interface similar to iOS and Android was planned to be set at up to 40 thousand rubles. - In October, Mobiltelefon journalists discovered that Rutek’s domestically produced R-Fon smartphone looks like a copy of Bangladesh’s Helio 80 Symphony device.
- STC IT Rosa, through Alternative Capital LLC, belongs to Leonid Reiman, who from 1999 to 2008 headed the State Telecommunications Committee, and after its transformation into the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (now the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications).
