Looks like Microsoft is finally working to release it option to reposition taskbar Windows 11. The feature still appears to be in the early stages of development so it shouldn’t be coming anytime soon.
Since the new Windows’ early access, the design of the new taskbar has been one of the main targets of criticism, starting with the central menu, which was one of the first items to be “fixed”. However function to position the bar in other directionssomething that is always possible in the system, completely removed.
New customization without Gambiarra
While it may seem like a whim, many users used the Windows taskbar in different locations. The choice was more frequent among those working with several operating systems, because some Linux distributions put their sticks sideways or top by default.
too much for that, Until Windows 10 it was still possible to change the position of the taskbar naturally. But in Windows 11, Microsoft did not implement the function in the new code. Currently, this is only possible using registry changes or alternative interfaces to the system, and even then it’s far from ideal to work.
It turns out that you can completely place the XAML taskbar at the top, still the experience is not that good?? pic.twitter.com/NmGjOVK0gR

It is worth noting that there is still no official confirmation of when the innovation will be implemented or even whether it will be implemented. However, it seems that the functionality is less broken than in the first months of the system, suggesting that Microsoft is at least investigating this possibility.
