According to insider Ahmed Quaider, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s main camera will capture images at 24MP resolution by default, which is comparable to the iPhone 15 Pro’s main camera.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra, the predecessor to the S24 Ultra, has a 200-megapixel camera but shoots 12-megapixel images by default. The iPhone 15 Pro’s 48MP main camera shoots 24MP images by default.

These 24-megapixel shots from the iPhone 15 Pro offer more detail, making it one of the best camera phones of 2023.

Additionally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s main camera is expected to feature a neutral density filter that helps reduce the amount of light entering the lens for 24MP RAW images and prevents overexposure, similar to the filter in the Expert RAW app.

It is also claimed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a Photo Remaster feature similar to the one offered on the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 laptops.

After taking a photo, the user will be presented with three options: Portrait, Recompose or Delete.
