The Russian developer Samolet will invest 9 billion rubles in an investment project for the comprehensive development of a territory in the Arctic. The company signed a memorandum with the government of the Murmansk region on the implementation of the project in the city of Kola (satellite city of Murmansk). This was reported by the company’s press service.
The project provides for the construction of a complex of almost 90 thousand square meters. m of living space. It will be able to accommodate more than 2 thousand people. In total, about 9 thousand people live in Kola.
Since September of this year, Samolet-Regions has been preparing projects for the development of the Murmansk agglomeration. To date, the highest priority areas have been identified, the company explained.
Upon entering this region, the structure of Samolet-Regions LLC SZ Project-S-70 received the status of a resident of the Arctic zone. Thus, “Airplane” became the 700th resident.
Earlier this month, Samolet Fintech CEO Kirill Gurbanov announced the company’s plans to acquire the bank in the coming months. This will allow the developer to acquire a banking license to work with consumer loans, mortgages and deposits.
