Investment platform SimpleEstate, which focuses on collective investments in commercial real estate, has raised 30 million rubles from venture funds Kama Flow, Malina VC and AYR Capital. This was reported to RB.RU by a representative of SimpleEstate.
According to him, the largest volume of investments in the current round was made by the Malina VC fund launched in December by the founder of the startup studio TheQube.VC Anton Pronin and the closed mutual fund Intellect Capital – 20 million rubles.
Kama Flow and AYR Capital invested 5 million rubles each.
According to the founder of SimpleEstate, Nikita Kornienko, in 2024 it is planned to attract another 20 million rubles from a syndicate of private investors. The funds raised in the current round will be used to expand the team, further develop the platform and marketing.
- SimpleEstate was founded in 2019 by Nikita Kornienko, originally from the international investment bank Goldman Sachs. The company allows you to invest from 100 thousand rubles in professionally selected commercial real estate properties completely online. Included in the register of investment platforms of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
- The value of SimpleEstate’s real estate portfolio exceeds 1.25 billion rubles and in the next five years the company plans to increase it to 15 billion rubles. The average historical return for investors on the platform reaches 25% annually.
- For 8 months of 2023, the company’s revenue amounted to 15.6 million rubles, which is 86% more than in the entire year 2022. Until the end of 2023, SimpleEstate plans to earn about 30 million rubles.
- In August 2022, SimpleEstate raised 30 million rubles from the private fund AYR Capital in exchange for a 13% stake in the company.
