The Bank of Russia registered issuances of MKAO Yandex shares

The Central Bank of the Russian Federation registered issues of ordinary preferred shares of type “A” and “B” of the international joint-stock company (ICAO) “Yandex”. This is stated on the Bank of Russia website.

Yandex told RBC that the issuance of securities is part of preparations for restructuring. This is standard practice when creating a corporation. Yandex registers it in the Kaliningrad region.

Against the background of news about securities registration, Yandex shares on the Moscow Stock Exchange increased by 5%.

Previously it became known about disagreements over the exchange of shares during the Yandex section. The obstacle was the funds and companies that bought Yandex NV shares through Western infrastructure and not through the Moscow Stock Exchange.
