Russian dating services are actively investing in promotion in “friendly” countries: Twinby is entering the Kazakhstan market, Teamo is planning its development in Armenia, Georgia and Mongolia, and Mamba is reducing its presence in Israel and Turkey, but is considering the possibilities of the Asian market, writes Kommersant.
Twinby will invest $1 million in developing the service in the Kazakhstan market and plans to develop the service in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Turkey. The application will also launch a Premium subscription, the cost of which will range from 499 to 1.8 thousand rubles.
“Mamba” finds appeal in the United States, Turkey, Germany, Israel and Kazakhstan. In spring the company planned to invest 6.5 million dollars to expand to the markets of other countries, we were talking about investments in marketing.
The Teamo service planned to invest up to $700,000 to develop the application in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The VKontakte network did not reveal expansion plans.
According to Statista, the total revenue of all dating apps in Kazakhstan will reach $15.5 million in 2023 and more than $25 million in 2028.
