“Irtea” is interested in Tecno, Infinix, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, Honor and others, with whom the company’s representatives are specifically negotiating, Kommersant writes.

Smartphones are tested for proper operation with Russian equipment on selected frequencies. In November 2022, Russia connected to the 5G network for the first time via a satellite channel. FSUE Space Communications and Skoltech developed and tested a private network using home software via a geostationary satellite.

Previously, Skoltech and the Radio Research Institute announced a project to develop 6G communications. For the development of the equipment, the completion of which is scheduled for 2025, 30 billion rubles were requested.
