The smartphone, whose official announcement is planned to be made in China on January 16, seems to be an important update in Asus’ gaming phone series.
The ROG Phone 8 Pro will feature a flat display with a central punch-hole for the front camera, likely a 32-megapixel sensor.
There are two USB-C ports, one on the left and the other on the bottom, along with the power button and volume keys on the right side. The device also has a 35mm headphone jack.
According to previous rumors and leaks, ROG Phone 8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch FullHD + AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support and LTPO technology.
The processor is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 24 GB of RAM.
Rear camera features are unknown for now, and the battery is expected to be 5,500mAh with 65W fast charging support.
