Early adopters of the iPhone 12, 13, 14, and 15 found that their phones were stuck in a reboot loop and were unable to boot back into the system. Apparently, this was due to the “Back Tap” function, which allows you to perform special actions using double and triple taps on the back panel.

Interestingly, some reports have found users with Back Tap disabled experiencing loops, adding further confusion to the problem. Fortunately, there is a way to escape the loading loop nightmare. Affected users can upgrade to stable iOS 17.2.1 or the previous beta iOS 17.3 beta 1, but remember that backing up your data and apps is crucial.

Apple is still silent on the exact cause of the boot loop but is undoubtedly working on a fix.
