Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is preparing a number of AI-powered innovations for iOS 18 and other operating systems that will be presented at WWDC 2024.
The company has been testing a larger “Ajax” language model since early 2023 and is looking at opportunities for promotion in core apps as well as services such as Pages and Keynote. The new version of Xcode also includes the ability to enable AI to help you write code.
Cupertino also wants to integrate AI into Apple Music to automate playlists.
However, says Gurman, these are just the first steps. Tighter integration is expected for 2025.
