ASUS took advantage of CES 2024 to make the announcement this Monday (8). New laptops from the ROG Strix Scar and Zephyrus series. The duo follows the latest hardware launches from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA, which include CPUs and GPUs ready for a new era of AI.
One of the highlights in the ads is the ROG Strix Scar 18 model, the manufacturer’s first ROG with an 18-inch screen. Featuring Nebula Display HDR technology for better contrasts, it comes with a 14th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU (14900HX) with a maximum TGP of 175W and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
Having similar features, ROG Strix Scar 16 makes a difference with its 16-inch screen. Both offer: triple fan cooling technology and liquid metal conductive system for processor and video card. ASUS has not announced the release date or official prices of the new models so far.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus brings lightness and durability
The company also announced the new G14 and G16 models from the ROG Zephyrus series, which combine performance with thin, light and durable design. The products, which have 14 and 16 inch screens with ROG Nebula Display OLED technology, are only 1.59 cm thick and have a total weight of 1.5 kilos.
Models can also be customized by buyers, supporting up to Intel Core Ultra 9 (185H) or AMD Ryzen 8000 processors. Graphics power is guaranteed by GPUs up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, whose maximum TGP reaches 115 W with dynamic boost.
According to the manufacturer, all of its new laptops gamers, content creators and other professionals increase their productivity and make your daily life easier. New processors make it easier to use solutions such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint, video conferencing tools and dynamic backgrounds.
“The new processors not only bring the latest advances in artificial intelligence, but also provide better performance and energy efficiency,” promises ASUS. More details about the ROG Strix and Zephyrus series, including availability and prices, are expected to be shared at CES 2024.
