It seems that Apple is still preparing to release a cheaper version of the Vision Pro helmet in the future.
As 9to5Mac reports, the company removed the word Pro from some references to Vision Pro in iOS 17 Beta 3. Instead, they simply read Apple Vision. For example, this kind of wording can be found in the App Store section: the lines associated with the app store previously read “apps for Mac, iPad and Apple Vision Pro” – now it says “apps for Mac, iPad and Apple Vision.”
On Apple’s main website, the label Vision Pro has also changed to Vision.
These changes indicate that the Cupertino team will sooner or later announce a non-pro version of the helmet. But when this will happen is unknown. [9to5]
