Softline Group announced the acquisition of payment terminal developer Inversum. 100% of the payment equipment provider was acquired by a subsidiary of Sky Technologies, Softline press service informed RB.RU.
The companies have already announced a future joint product: it will be a line of payment terminals based on domestically produced equipment and software.
Inversum produces equipment for POS terminals and has five years of experience in the market. Together with Sky Technologies, which specializes in the development of software for POS terminals, the company intends to launch the first line of import-independent payment terminals on the domestic market.
Currently, Inversum has already received part of the design documentation and security certificates required to create payment devices.
Sky Technologies’ portfolio includes device management solutions, a remote cryptographic key upload system and a payment platform with 85 thousand connected devices.
According to Vladimir Lavrov, CEO of Softline, the operation is in line with the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy.
