This innovative bot, known as DLgram, not only makes the job of microscopists easier, but also has applications in other areas of science and technology, the university said.
DLgram runs in cloud mode, relieving people from routine tasks such as counting and characterizing objects in an image. Any user can train a neural network by selecting several objects in an image uploaded via the Nanoparticles Telegram bot. Recognition results, including the number, size and concentration of objects, are returned in just a few minutes.
Andrey Matveev, head of the laboratories, added that the first version of the service was presented in 2021 and received support from the Russian Science Foundation, thanks to which it was possible to expand the functionality of the neural network.
