Chinese Chery, Geely, Omoda, FAW, Changan, Haval, JAC, Exeed, Tank and GAC are also sold in Russia. According to Avtostat, AvtoVAZ became the leader in the passenger car market last year, followed by Chery, Haval, Geely and Changan.
The pace of growth of sales of Chinese cars in Russia has begun to slow. If in August the share of the Chinese automotive industry in the Russian market was 56%, in September it decreased to 53%. The reason was the restoration of Russian automobile production.
