St. Petersburg businessmen Andrei Godunov and Igor Slonsky died in an avalanche in Khibiny, Murmansk region. This was reported by TASS with reference to the region’s emergency services.
According to the agency, the businessmen were traveling on snowmobiles in the mountains as part of a tourist group not registered with the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The tragedy occurred on January 8 in the area of the Ramzai gorge in the Khibiny mountain range.
