Blockchain technology and product developer Web3 Tech has announced the expansion of its product portfolio and the launch of a new platform, Econcrete. The platform is a system for predicting and controlling the production of cement and concrete, the company’s press service informed RB.RU.

Econcrete became the first project of Web3 Tech’s modified strategy. According to a company representative, its use will allow concrete and cement producers to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 50%. The company is currently testing a pilot, with a full launch planned for the second half of 2024.

Globally, Web3 Tech is changing its direction starting this year. The company will focus on creating solutions and services based on machine learning, industrial learning and big data technologies.

According to Artem Kalikhov, CEO of Web3 Tech, the sanctions have left vacant those niches in which the leadership previously belonged to large Western players. Kalikhov believes that today new opportunities have emerged for large companies and startups on the Russian market.

“Starting this year, Web3 Tech begins to actively work not only with blockchain competencies, but also with other popular technologies and areas: machine learning, predictive analytics, cybersecurity, etc.,” Kalikhov shared his plans, adding that this It will be the largest transformation of the company in five years of operation.

Earlier this summer, the developer announced plans to gain a foothold in the African market. The company plans to promote its products on the continent and develop local IT specialists.
