Images have emerged of a unique strap designed to honor 50-year-old former Apple Design chief Sir Jonathan Ive.
As noted by the user Stella Fudge, who published the pictures, this is one of 10 prototype straps. The final gift to Jony Ive in 2017 along with the ceramic Apple Watch Series 2.
The ceramic clasp features “J50” in silver characters.
The white ceramic Apple Watch Series 2 was the first of its kind, then the company released the similar Series 3 but skipped the Series 4. Apple eventually revived the white ceramic with the Series 5 in 2019.
