Citizens of the Russian Federation have once again become leaders among foreigners in purchasing housing in Turkey. In 2023, the Russians sold 10.5 thousand lots. In 2022, Russian citizens were also the largest buyers of residential real estate in Turkey with a figure of 16.3 thousand lots.
Russians ranked first among foreigners in terms of the volume of home purchases in Turkey. By the end of 2023, citizens of the Russian Federation closed 10.5 thousand lots for the sale of residential real estate, according to a report by the Turkish Statistics Bureau.
Second place after the Russians in purchasing housing in Turkey was occupied by Iranians with 4.2 thousand lots and Iraqis with 1.9 thousand lots.
In 2022, citizens of the Russian Federation also led among foreigners in purchasing residential real estate in Turkey. The Russians bought 16.3 thousand lots.
In 2021, before the start of the special operation in Ukraine, Russians ranked third among foreigners in terms of the volume of housing purchased in Turkey with an indicator of 5.3 thousand lots.
