Russian assets sold include Qiwi Bank, Qiwi Wallet, Qiwi Business, Contact money transfer system, ROWI group of companies, Realweb group of companies, Flocktory, Taxiaggregator, IntellectMoney and a number of other projects.

The sales price was determined taking into account the foreign ownership discount and the uncertainty caused by the temporary restrictions imposed by the Bank of Russia on some operations of Qiwi Bank. Protoponov will head JSC Qiwi, which will become the new owner of Russian assets. He will also step down from his leadership positions at Qiwi plc. The international business of the Qiwi group of companies, including operations in Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates and other countries, will be fully transferred to Qiwi plc.
