Binance urged users to convert Russian rubles before January 31

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance urged users to convert Russian rubles before January 31. Starting this date, the company will stop supporting all ruble transactions, including the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies, Binance said in a statement.

On January 30, Binance will delist all ruble pairs and open pairs will be automatically closed. On February 1, the crypto exchange will automatically convert ruble balances to FDUSD stablecoins at the current exchange rate.

Binance recommended exchanging ruble assets for available ones, converting rubles or withdrawing them with the help of partners.

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has begun gradually closing open positions of Russian users. In the fall, Finance announced its withdrawal from the Russian market. It was later learned that the cryptocurrency exchange business would be sold to the CommEX platform.
