According to TechPowerUp’s independent review, the new product shows only a slight improvement in performance compared to the standard RTX 4070 Ti.
The RTX 4070 Ti Super has an AD103-275 GPU with 8,448 CUDA cores, which is 768 more than the RTX 4070 Ti. It also has an increased GDDR6X memory capacity of up to 16 GB with a speed of 21 Gbps per pin and bandwidth of 672 GB/s.
Despite these improvements, performance gains were modest.
In game tests performed at 1440p resolution, the RTX 4070 Ti Super outperforms its predecessor by only 7%, while at 4K resolution this increase is 10%. This is less than expected, especially considering that the RTX 4070 Super shows more than a 15% performance increase over the RTX 4070.
Overall, the RTX 4070 Ti Super offers good performance, but the gains over the original RTX 4070 Ti are not as great as they could be. This makes the new card interesting, but not a revolutionary model in the NVIDIA line-up.
