According to information obtained by 9to5Google, Samsung is actively working to support the Android 14 build for the new generation Galaxy Watch 7 chip, and this build is called “Wear OS 5” by various sources.
Looking at recent years, the Galaxy Watch 7 series in the summer will probably host the release of Wear OS 5. This could be followed in the fall by the Pixel Watch 3, which 9to5Google recently reported could come in two sizes.
No important details about the expected Wear OS 5 update have been announced. Following last year’s model, details about Wear OS 5’s key highlights will likely emerge following an update to Google’s own Pixel Watch series.
