Raja.
This essentially creates a “structural brain reserve” that can help protect against the decline in brain size and function that occurs with age.
The study suggests that even small amounts of exercise can have a significant impact on brain health. The findings have practical implications for people of all ages, and even light exercise such as walking, swimming or cycling may be beneficial, Raja said.
