The Federal Tax Service has begun fining Russian citizens for receiving rental payments from their commercial real estate abroad to offshore accounts. Vedomosti writes about this with reference to the resolution of the Federal Tax Service in Moscow.
This resolution was sent to a resident of the Russian Federation, owner of six commercial premises in Germany. He rents premises and receives payments for this in foreign accounts.
The Federal Tax Service considered this activity to be entrepreneurial and the payments to be illegal financial transactions. The service imposed a fine on the Russian in the amount of 30% of the amount of the transactions.
According to experts, it is almost impossible to transfer money from rental payments from the United States or European Union countries to Russian jurisdiction.
