“Magnit” opened the first collection point (POP) “Magnit Market”, located in Kazan. The retailer announced it on its official website.
Previously, RB.RU learned that the network was launching its own marketplace “Magnit Market” based on the previously acquired KazanExpress marketplace.
As reported in the press service, the test collection point is located in a convenience store at 9 Frunze Street in Kazan. You can receive orders in the payment area.
“In February, Magnit plans to open 16 test collection points in various configurations in its convenience stores, supermarkets and large stores in Kazan to test various hypotheses and select the optimal ones. Orders from KazanExpress customers will be delivered to Magnit stores with pick-up points within one day,” the company said in a statement.
As noted by Magnit retail director Guvanch Donmez, the chain will test different pickup point formats. Based on the results of the pilot project, the most optimal option will be selected.
After this, the company will begin scaling the project across its entire network.
