According to recent rumors, Microsoft has just started the design phase of its upcoming console, and Sony has already signed several contracts with AMD following the launch of PlayStation 5.
Unlike Sony, the Redmond company did not sign a contract with AMD to develop the next generation Xbox until recently.
The company is reportedly looking for alternative offers to persuade AMD to lower prices. During this period, Intel offered its services to produce chips for the new console with very low prices and full use of its production facilities.
Despite this, experts suggest that Microsoft will most likely choose AMD as a partner. However, due to delays at the beginning of development, the company’s new device may be released later than the PlayStation 6.
