The green lines issue was typical of the Galaxy S20 series. This unwelcome reappearance in Samsung’s latest flagship is worrying, especially considering its premium price tag.

One user reported that a green vertical line and a white horizontal line appeared on his S24 Ultra six days after purchase. Restarting and factory resetting did not fix the issue, reflecting similar experiences on affected S20 devices. Another user reported having the same vertical green line on his device.

It’s too early to tell whether this is a widespread manufacturing defect or isolated cases. But Samsung’s history with the green line issue doesn’t inspire much confidence among potential buyers.
