Polish open source e-commerce platform Saleor has raised $8 million from Target Global, Zalando, SNR, Cherry Ventures and TQ Ventures. The parties closed the initial round on February 6, according to data from Crunchbase, to which RB.RU drew attention.
The company plans to use the funds raised to scale and develop its agency program and product. Since its inception, the startup has raised $10.5 million.
Saleor was founded in 2020 in Poland. This is an open source eCommerce platform for creating electronics stores. It consists of a “Showcase”, which can be modified to adapt to the specific characteristics of the project, and a “Control Panel” for the store. The platform has functions such as customer management, orders, merchandise, deliveries, site administration, etc.
