A new Google System on a Chip (SoC) codenamed Tokay has appeared in Geekbench 5 test results. Although it is not clear which model it is The chipset evaluated could be Google Tensor G4, which could power the future Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel Fold 2.
According to benchmark, Google Tokay doesn’t offer a huge evolution over Tensor G3, possibly a derivative of the previous chip. The new track achieved 1,082 points in Single Core performance and 3,121 points in Multi-Core performance. The tests were listed in the database this Friday (9).
Google Tokay tests also show that the part has eight cores (one unit less than the Tensor G3), with the main core at a frequency of 3.10 GHz, three at 2.60 GHz and four at 1.95 GHz. The CPU is accompanied by Mali G715 GPU. and 8 GB RAM.
Now, No more information about the device – nor any confirmation that it is real. Geekbench 5 test results are not very reliable as they can be easily deceived.
It is therefore interesting to view the current findings with reservations. In any case, the outlook suggests that Google may be involved in the development of its next handsets, possibly the Pixel 9 series.
