The owner of the Aviasales service “landed” in Russia

The Hong Kong company Go Travel Un Limited has fulfilled the requirements of the Russian federal law on “landing”. This is confirmed by the data from the special register of Roskomnadzor.

In particular, Go Travel Un Limited owns the Aviasales service for the purchase of airline tickets. In Russia, the company is represented by the legal entity Aviasales Media LLC, whose shareholder is the Cypriot Go Travel LTD.

The rules of the law on “landing” must be observed by companies whose audience of services in Russia exceeds 500 thousand users.

According to the law, companies must open a representative office in Russia or register an authorized legal entity, place a form for receiving feedback from Russian users on their website and create a personal account on the Roskomnadzor website.

The “landing” law came into effect on January 1, 2022. Since then, Apple, AliExpress and Viber have complied with the law.
