Yandex has integrated a new generation of neural networks into Yandex Browser: users will be able to enhance their texts and generate images immediately in the browser interface.
The company’s message also notes that to work with new features, Yandex has updated the design of the service.
- Using YandexGPT in the neurobrowser you can write comments, letters, reviews and other messages. To do this, you need to select a fragment and select the “Help with text” function. It works in three modes: “Fix errors”, “Reduce” and “Improve style”. Users will be able to enhance their writing on both websites and web applications with input forms, including email and social media.
- In addition, Yandex Browser’s neural networks have learned to translate videos from Japanese and Korean to Russian and add voice-overs. Previously, the feature only worked in English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, and German.
- Additionally, you can start a short video count in foreign languages using YandexGPT. The neural network will do this in Russian and announce the results of the summary; It can also generate subtitles for Russian videos in real time and visually separate speaker comments.
- Neurobrowser users also have the opportunity to create images using the YandexART neural network. To do this, you need to turn to “Alice” and describe what you want to see in the picture.
- Built-in machine learning model to check sites for phishing directly in Yandex Browser. If she notices signs of danger, she herself starts a thorough check of the Yandex servers. This process is reported to take less than 0.01 seconds and does not affect operating speed.
- Other changes include: faster browser loading on computers with outdated hardware (startup speed on systems installed on slower hard drives has been reduced from 45 to 20 seconds), QR code scanning during video playback, fast transfer settings and bookmarks from other browsers.
