The RB Digital Awards 2024 have ended. These are this year’s winners

In total, RB.RU received more than 130 applications to participate in the award, of which 66 companies were shortlisted, whose cases were evaluated by closed voting by members of the jury, leading experts in digital transformation. The editors guarantee the transparency of the voting and the impartiality of the results: the jury members did not deliberate or know each other’s votes.

Company: Alfa-Bank

Case: updated Alfa-Bank loyalty program

The bank updated and relaunched its loyalty program, adapting it to the needs of each client.

• Nomination “Digital Services”

Company: PIK

Case: online check-in

To solve the problems of “classic” check-in, PIK was the first in the Russian market to transfer the transfer of apartment keys to a new online check-in format. The process is as clear and customer-oriented as possible: online check-in allows new residents to receive the keys to their long-awaited apartment at any time and without an appointment.

Company: Severstal

Case: Control the iron ore pellet pelletizing process using machine learning

Severstal decided to create a set of models for the automatic control of the pelletizing process. It included computer vision models to monitor raw pellet parameters and machine learning models to control the pelleting process.

A set of machine learning models that automatically controls pelletizer rotation speed and bentonite dosing provides recommendations on iron ore concentrate dosing, allowing you to increase unit productivity while maintaining product quality or increasing the percentage from 10 to 12.5 mm. class while maintaining productivity.

• Nomination “Operational activities”

Company: Gazpromneft-Khantos in collaboration with Adeptum Digital Production

Case: Computer system for the automation of daily life and employee rotation in oil and gas corporation fields

The world’s first project that uses complete process automation in a single application window in the field for the daily life of employees. In addition to automating core business processes, the system is also capable of covering “side” processes related to the convenience of employees being in the field. Register for a visit to a sports facility or place a food order in the dining room, fill out an application to solve household problems or receive a service provided on the field.

• Special nomination in education according to “Base”

Within the framework of the RB Digital Awards 2024, the award partner, the company Basis, received a special nomination in education. For this reason, participants could not present cases.

Basis experts interviewed leading Russian universities participating in the “DevOps (devops) – engineer from scratch” project. And the winner was chosen strictly from this list of universities. The selection criteria are the number of students enrolled in this program, as well as the number of major educational areas whose students participate in the project.

Base experts selected two winners:

MIREA – Russian Technological University;

Moscow State Technical University named after NE Bauman.

• Nomination “Logistics and Transport”

Company: JSC Gazstroyprom together with MONTRANS

Case: digital vehicle fleet of JSC Gazstroyprom

The combination of digitalization and improving the safety of construction work using AI and computer vision allows not only to perform analyzes based on the data received (telemetry), but also to receive video confirmation and evaluation of each incident, as well as like providing each employee with a smart assistant.

Integrating several accounting systems into a single analysis suite using modern tools allows you to accelerate the development of the final solution thanks to the decentralization of data.

• Nomination “HR and Internal Communication”

Company: Subway Russia in collaboration with SteadyControl

Case: Increasing the efficiency of Subway Russia restaurant employees using a Russian system based on audio and video analysis

SteadyControl is a personnel management and control system that combines and adapts artificial intelligence developments, audio and video analysis to solve business management problems. Today he works in more than 50 Subway restaurants and studies the experiences of more than 10 thousand diners each month.

• Nomination “Corporate Pilot”

Company: PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel together with Tetraform

Case: Norilsk Nickel City of Professions: An Interactive Career Guidance Portal for Schoolchildren

Norilsk Nickel City of Professions is an interactive portal in the form of a three-dimensional map of 10 districts, which has become a unique career guidance tool for schoolchildren. The development is completely customized: from the idea to the map elements.

• “Cybersecurity” nomination

Company: Positive Technologies

Case: Standoff 365 Online Cyber ​​Boot Camp

In 2023, the Standoff 365 online cyber boot camp became available to defense teams, giving them the opportunity to improve their skills 24/7. Now defenders will be able to monitor and investigate the actions of real attackers with different experiences and tools, in order to further use the acquired skills to prevent attacks from real hackers.

• Nomination “Supplier of the Year”

Company: Rostelecom Information Technologies LLC

“Supplier of the Year” is the only category in which the winner was determined not by a closed jury vote, but by the editors’ choice from a long list of applications for the award.

When choosing the winner, the editors took into account the number of cases implemented by the company and their innovation, reviews about the company and descriptions of its activities in open sources.
